Employee Development & Compliance Services Coordinator ...

Bachelor's degree in Management, Business, Pre-Law or closely related field. Three years professional experience in one or more of the following areas: regulatory compliance, complaint resolution, mediation, consulting, risk management, legal profession.

Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, human resources modeling, leadership technique, production methods, and coordination of people and resources. Knowledge of Federal and State compliance laws and regulations. Demonstrated critical thinking and analytical skills required to implement or recommend effective courses of action.

Above average proficiency with word processing, spreadsheets and databases. Demonstrated experience developing and writing assessment related reports.

Detail-oriented. Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills. Excellent interview and presentation skills. Ability to multi-task.

Preferred Qualifications Master's Degree in Management, Business Administration or related field. PHR/SPHR. Civil rights compliance. Experience researching, writing, and editing legal documents and/or reports.

Compliance:
Provide support in the development and implementation of university wide compliance program. Assess programs, compliance, or operational risks and develop risk management strategies. Conduct periodic internal reviews or audits to ensure that compliance procedures are followed. Identify compliance issues that require follow-up or investigation.

Design or implement databases for improvements in communication, monitoring, or enforcement of compliance standards. Assist with written policies and procedures related to compliance activities. Keep informed regarding pending national, state, and TAMUS changes, trends, and best practices and assess the potential impact of these changes on university processes. Consult with Director/Associate Director as necessary to address compliance issues.

Maintain documentation of compliance activities. Monitor compliance systems to ensure their effectiveness, and file appropriate compliance reports. Provide assistance to internal or external investigators in compliance reviews. Provide support & training to departments/divisions on compliance related topics, policies, or procedures.

Complaint Resolution:
Conduct internal investigation of compliance issues and other types of campus complaints received thru the various TAMUS & campus complaint forums. Manage the internal reporting systems and databases, such as Complaint Resolution, Ethics Points, etc. Prepare quarterly management reports regarding complaint demographics, trends, problem areas, and systemic change.

Prepare President's Complaint Resolution annual letter to the campus community.

Maintain databases in support of the Affirmative Action Program. Develop and maintain quarterly Affirmative Action Program "Dashboard" on webpage. Prepare annual draft of the Affirmative Action Program narrative.

Conduct annual workforce analysis, utilization analysis, and adverse impact analysis.

Prepare annual President's Reaffirmation of Commitment to Equal Opportunity, Affirmative Action and Diversity.

Monitor and prepare Quarterly Veterans Hiring Report for submission to State Comptroller.

Provide faculty and staff searches with timely status of their utilization and affirmative action goals, as appropriate.

Manage the TrainTraq and External Gateway online training systems. Provide monthly "past due assignments" reports. Assist managers in preparing courses for TrainTraq utilization.

Prepare Fall & Spring semester training calendar of events. Schedule, coordinate, and assist in training events. Provide presentations and workshops, as appropriate.

Prepare semiannual Exit Survey analysis & reports.

Prepare and update Search committee guides/materials. Assist Search Committee Chair, Dept. Chair, and Dean with online search process. Develop and maintain Search workflow status. Change applicant status as required. Ensure all search documentation is uploaded in the online file prior to EO final review. Coordinate preparation of finalist appointment letter with Provost office.

Other duties as assigned.
