GolfLogix, ?Golf Digest? team on media, training application

GolfLogix Inc. is working on a partnership with Golf Digest to turn a distance-measuring technology for golf courses into a new media tool for customized content.

Scottsdale-based GolfLogix already has carved a niche with its smartphone application, which allows golfers to access distance measurements for more than 30,000 golf courses worldwide. The company hopes to expand its user base and online community with content from Golf Digest, which would provide individualized information to help players perform better and keep them interested in the game.
