Many New York residents are facing challenging financial struggles. To combat the financial illiteracy epidemic that is sweeping the country, the NFEC is providing free personal finance materials to residents of New York through the Financial EduNation campaign. Educators, parents, nonprofit organizations and citizens of New York will be among the first to receive free financial literacy resources to improve the financial capability of youth.

The National Financial Educators Councils? Financial EduNation campaign provides free personal finance resources for teachers, parents, students, non-profit organizations, and concerned citizens, with one goal in mind: to improve the financial capability of youth residing in New York. This campaign provides practical financial literacy resources to individuals and organizations that support the financial development of youth.

Nationally, the NFEC has partnered with professional athletes, celebrities, educators, and business leaders to raise awareness for the Financial EduNation campaign and the financial literacy movement. ?We must inform the community that it?s critical to teach kids about money before they move out on their own. We see the consequences of financial illiteracy in the news every day and people are suffering because they lack the financial capability to make positive financial decisions,? says Somya Munjal, NFECs? Community Ambassador of New York.

Organizations and concerned citizens can access the free financial literacy resources by visiting the Financial EduNation campaign center. The Financial EduNation campaign provides complimentary: financial literacy curriculum, parent tip sheets, presentations, exclusive celebrity videos, after-school programs, and more.

The National Financial Educators Councils? Financial EduNation campaign provides free personal finance training and material. Through collaborative efforts across the country, the NFEC is helping to improve the financial capability of our nation?s youth. The complimentary financial literacy materials provided to residents of New York are made available according to the NFEC?s social enterprise business model, which provides free personal finance products or training for every service purchased.
